T he John W. Martin Funeral Home was established in 1886 as the Alvin Harris Funeral Home. In 1902, John W. Martin bought the funeral home and it remained in the Martin Family with John's son J. Harold Martin and Harold's son David Martin operating the funeral home until David untimely death in 1976. In 1978, Harold sold the Funeral Home to Kevin Dougherty who operated the funeral home until June 2006, when he sold it to William C. D'Angelo, who had managed the funeral home since 1985.

I, William C. D'Angelo feel honored to carry on the legacy of the funeral home and serving the families who have come to depend on the Professionalism that has always been associated with the Funeral Home.
