ALBERT A. "AL" MIGNEMI age 99 of Geneseo formerly of Mt. Morris died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday October 9, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. He was born the son of Joseph and Theresa (Cosimano) Mignemi on June 7, 1919 in Mount Morris, NY. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945. Prior to his retirement in 1974 he was employed as a Supervising Registered Nurse for over 35 years at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea, NY. He was a member of both St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris and St. Mary's in Geneseo, the Mt. Morris American Legion Post 354 and the Knights of Columbus.


He is survived by his sons Joe (Janet) Mignemi of Hornell and Mike Coniglio of Perry. 2 grandchildren Kenneth Mignemi and Jodie (Joe) Mignemi-Stella both of York. 5 Great Grandchildren Justin, Hunter, Riley, Jillian and Noah. 4 step-children Lois Scorsone of Lima, Philip (Regina) Cappadonia of Kentucky, Mary Ann Fuller of Lima and Diane (Larry) Walton of Linwood. Many Step grandchildren, Great and Great-great grandchildren. Brother Mike Mignemi of Florida. 3 sisters Mary Constantino of Mt. Morris, Frances DiPasquale of Avon and Theresa DeHayes of Virginia. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his wives Janice, Vinnie and Mary.


No prior calling. Graveside services with military honors to be held Saturday Oct. 13 at 10 am at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Memorials may be made to your favorite Veterans Charity.
