ANDREW "Andy" GERACI age 79 of Mount Morris, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday April 28, 2024 at his home.  He was born the son of Joseph and Loretta (Bellavia) Geraci on August 8, 1944 in Palermo, Sicily.  He enlisted in the Air Force in 1965 and served nearly 4 years during the Vietnam War and then retired from the Army National Guard as a heavy Equipment Operator having worked out of Geneseo and Rochester.  He was a member of 51 years of the Mount Morris Fire Department, St. Patrick's Church, Hally-Allen American Legion in Sonyea.  He was a former member of the Mount Morris American Legion, Mount Morri VFW and the Dansville American Legion.  Andy loved and cherished his family and was devoted to placing American and Firemen flags on the graves at all local cemeteries.

He is survived by his loving companion Rosalie, 3 children Greg Geraci, Mike Geraci and Jennifer (Chad) LaPiana all of Mount Morris.  7 grandchildren Tyler, Josh, Noah, Dominic, Gianna, Jack and Matthew and 2 great grandchildren Elijah and Emerson.  4 siblings Elizabeth "Josephine" DioGuardi of Lima, Agatha Schfino of Avon, Tony Geraci of Rochester and Mary Sampagnaro of Rochester.  Many nieces and Nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents Jospeh and Loretta Geraci and brother Santo Geraci and sister Santina Liberti.

Friends may call Thursday 11 am to 1 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral and Firemen's Services will be held Thursday at 1 pm.  Interment with full military honors at St. Patrick's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers.  Memorials may be made to Sully and the Ladies in Pink, 9605 Nunda-Dalton Road, Dalton, NY 14836.  Sign the online registry at;
