ANTHONY "TONY" J. TORCELLO JR. age 88 of Pine Circle, Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully on Monday May 22, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.  He was born the son of Anthony and Sarah (Barone) Torcello Sr. on March 20, 1935 in Rochester, NY.  He was in the Army from 1959 to 1962 during the Vietnam War.  He married Diana Levey on October 20, 1962.  Prior to his retirement in 1993 he worked for the Labors Union # 435 in Rochester for over 20 years.  He also owned and operated Tony's Appliance Service in 1984 for many years until he retired completely.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, 53 year member of the Mount Morris Fire Department where he also served in the Fire Police and the Hally-Allen American Legion Post # 1341 in Sonyea.

He is survived by his 4 children Laurie (Ted) Rodwell of Florida, Mark (Lisa) Torcello of Mt. Morris, Tammy (Brian O'Hearn) Torcello of Nunda and Debbie (Bill) Watters of Florida. 3 Grandchildren Alecia (Jason) LeRoy, Nicholas Torcello and Teddy Rodwell.  1 Great Granddaughter Laurel Rae. Nieces and Nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Diana in 2019.

Friends may call Thursday May 25 from 5 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where a Firemen's Service will be held Thursday at 7 pm.   Interment on Friday May 26 at 11 am with Military honors at St. Mary's Cemetery, Geneseo, NY.  Memorials may be made to the Mt.
