ARTHUR R. CROSTON JR. age 83 of 120 Murray Street, Mount Morris, NY, died Thursday January 8, 2015 at his home peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born the son of Arthur and Myrtle (Pratt) Croston on January 31, 1931 in Rochester, NY. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War. He married Ruth Donovan on January 3, 1952. Prior to his retirement in 1972 he was employed at the Mt. Morris Post office for over 25 years. He was also had worked at the Livingston County Sheriff Department as a Road Patrol Officer. He was a member of the Mount Morris Congregation of the Kingdom Hall, a charter and life member of the Mount Morris Disable American Veterans and a member of the Living Stream Hose Company of the Mount Morris Fire Department for over 55 years.

He is survived by 5 children Daniel Croston of Warsaw, Carol (David) Thompson and Barbara (David) Galvin both of Leicester and James (Linda Shaver) and John Croston both of Mt. Morris. 4 Grandchildren Shannon, Jesse, Katie and Kelsey. Brother
Robert (Gert) Croston of Rush. Sister Marion Krukowski of Fairport. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving Wife Ruth on Aug. 3, 2014. The family would like to thank the all of his caregivers including, Valorie, Kim, Johnna, Whitney, Susan, Mary Jane and also those from Livingston County Hospice.
