BARBARA WEISS age 73 of Dansville, formerly of New York, New York died peacefully on Monday May 5, 2025 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.  She was born the daughter of James Madison and Joyce (Bayer) Weiss on September 3, 1951 in New York, New York. She resided at Witter IRA in Dansville and formerly at Creekside in Nunda, NY. She loved music, enjoyed listening to books on tape, twinkling lights, the petting zoo and visiting with other animals.

She is survived by her brother Jim (Tuni) of St. Augustine, Florida and 2 sisters Jill (Mark) of Boulder, Colorado and Jennifer (Eric) of Stow, Massachusetts along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends and staff at Witter and Creekside IRA Homes. She was predeceased by her parents Jim (1981) and Joyce (2012) and her brother Jonathan (1997).

No prior calling.  A Life Celebration Service will be held on Friday June 6 at Dogwood Day Center in Dansville at 10 am.  Memorials may be made to your local animal shelter.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
