CAROL H. MONTELEONE age 95 of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully surrounded by her beloved sons on Friday May 24, 2024 at the Teresa House in Geneseo, New York.  She was born the daughter of Harold and Jean (Dunlop) Heaslip on December 6, 1928 in Gloversville, New York.  She married Joseph Monteleone on December 1, 1950 . Prior to her retirement she was employed as a secretary in the Speech Pathology Department at SUNY @ Geneseo for over 25 years and a member of CSEA.  She was an active member of the United Church of Mount Morris for over 70 Years. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her with her five grandchildren.

She is survived by her 3 children John J. (Patti) Monteleone of California, Lynda J. (William) Dette of California and Mark J. (Kelly) Monteleone of Livonia and 5 grandchildren Heather Monteleone, Justin (Nicolette) Monteleone and William Joseph Dette all of California and Nina and Cara Monteleone of Livonia.  Several nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends including Ann Hunt of Mount Morris.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1996, sister Dorothy (Raymond) Stead, brother John (Pat) Heaslip and her parents Harold and Jean Heaslip.

No prior calling.  Funeral Services will be held at the United Church of Mount Morris on July 21st at 1PM.  Private family Interment at Mount Morris Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Teresa House 21 Highland Road, Geneseo, NY 14454 or the United Church of Mount Morris, 24State Street, Mt.
