Churchill W. "Chuck" Green, Jr. age 81 of Nunda, formerly of Geneseo, died suddenly Wednesday January 25, 2012. The son of Celestine and Churchill W Green Sr. he was born on August 7, in Wellsville and raised in Belmont NY, where he graduated from high school. He had retired as First Sergeant, U.S. Army National Guard and retired from Rochester Gas & Electric, after many years of service. He was an avid boater, having spent many sun filled summers on his boats on Canandaigua Lake and more recently enjoyed walking in Letchworth Park. He was a former member of the Geneseo Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by his companion, Joanne Tallman of Nunda; three daughters, Deborah (Thomas) Spratt of Avon; Laurie (Jay) Sharman of Mt. Morris and Susan Ayers of Chesapeake, VA; a son, Craig Green of Sarasota, FL; a brother, Charles Green of Atlanta, GA; his wife, Lucretia Green of Geneseo, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday from 12 - 1pm at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel Street (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY where a memorial service will be held Sunday at 1:00pm.
