DALE L. MC DOWELL age 82 of Nunda, NY, died Friday February 11, 2022 at Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Houghton, NY. He was born the son of Ziby and Catherine (O'Reilly) McDowell on November 7, 1939 in Hornell, NY. He had worked for the Town of Portage Highway crew for many years. He was a member of the Oakland Wesleyan Church, a Social Member of the Hally-Allen American Legion Post #1341 in Sonyea. He loved to go Hunting and Fishing.

He is survived by his 6 children Tina (Charlie) Yaw of Maryland, Kim DioGuardi of Nunda, Dean Pearl of Honeoye Falls, Tim (Sue) McDowell of Gainesville, Wendy (Dan) Derrenbacher of Hunt and Shawn McDowell of Florida. Many Grand, Great and Great-Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Catherine Brice in 2018 and all of his siblings.

No prior calling. Memorial Services will be held Thursday February 17, at 11 am at the Oakland Wesleyan Church, 1519 Route 436, Nunda, NY. Pastor Paul Palmer officiating. In lieu of flowers.
