DALE SAWYER YOUNG age 74 of 8 East State Street, Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully Monday December 16, 2013 at her home. She was born the daughter of Edwin "Eddie" and Pauline (Bassett) Sawyer on December 11, 1939 in Ithaca, NY. She married Roger T. Young on May 9, 1959. Prior to her retirement in 1991 she was employed as the Deputy Village Clerk of Mount Morris for over 10 years. She was a member of the United Church of Mount Morris and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 54 years Roger. 2 sons Robert (Deborah) Young of Tennessee and Bruce (Elizabeth) Young of Canandaigua. Daughter-in-law Jennifer Young of California. 3 Grandchildren Sarah, Benjamin and Devin. Sister Dyann (William) Weikert of Williamsville. Several nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends. She was predeceased by her son Andrew in 2006.
