DAVID LEE "Dave" BROWN age 67 of Mount Morris formerly of Henrietta, New York, died suddenly Wednesday November 22, 2023 at his home.   He was born the son of Donald Lee and Rosemary (Schumacher) Brown on January 22, 1956 in Buffalo, New York.  He married Deborah Palermo of Mount Morris on April 6, 1991.  Prior to his retirement in 2013 he worked for Wegmans Foods in Rochester, New York for over 30 years.   He was a former member of both the Henrietta Fire Department for 18 years where he served as Lieutenant, Captain and training Captain and the Mount Morris Fire Department for over 15 years where he was a Lieutenant, Captain and First Assistant Chief.  Dave enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time at his cottage on Lake Ontario.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 32 years Deborah.  1 brother Robert (Colleen) Brown of Greece and 2 sisters Patricia (Ace) Jarma of Texas and Sharon (Bryan) Thompson of Henrietta.  2 Nephews Sean (Zoe) Brown and Aaron Jarma and nieces Shannon (Christopher) Francione.  Many dear and loving friends.

Friends may call Friday December 1 from 4 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday December 2 at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, 46 Stanley Street, Mount Morris, NY.  Memorials may be made to your local Fire Department.  Sign the online registry at
