DAVID H. SWANSON age 92 of Begole Road, Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday September 25, 2024 at his home.  He was born the son of Henry and Mabel (Bentley) Swanson March 10, 1932 in Mount Morris, New York.  He married Helen Schumaker on May 23, 1953. Dave and his wife Helen owned and operated Osage Farms in Mount Morris.  He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Mt Morris.

He is survived by 4 children Colleen Swanson (James) Coburn and Jeffrey Swanson both of Mt. Morris, Valerie Swanson (Chuck) Schleigh of Livonia and Stephanie Swanson (Bill) Bemish of Honeoye Falls. Several Grand and Great Grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 2017 and sister Elaine Opdyke in 2018.

No Prior calling. A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held on Saturday October 5, 2024 from 1 to 5 pm at the Buck Run Picnic Area on Swanson Road ( between Creek and Begole Road), Mount Morris. Arrangements by the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.
