DONALD E. JACOBS SR. age 84 of 40 Pleasant Street, Leicester, NY, died Tuesday June 25, 2013 at his home in Leicester, NY. He was born the son of John and Myrtle (Chapman) Jacobs on June 12, 1929 in Honeoye Falls, NY. He married Angeline Estruch on April 21, 1954. Prior to his retirement in 1994 he was employed by the Town of Leicester Department of Public Works for over 31 years. He was a member of St. Thomas-Aquinas Church in Leicester.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 59 years Angeline. 4 sons Donald (Paula) Jacobs Jr. of Leicester, Timothy Jacobs of Brighton, Randy Jacobs of Geneseo and Jeffrey Jacobs of Leicester. 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. 1 brother Frank (Rosemary) Jacobs of California, 2 sisters Helen Scaccia of LeRoy and Mildred (Richard "Bud") Hamilton of Leicester. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 brothers John, Robert and Raymond and 3 sisters Ruth, Myrtle and Edith.

Friends may call Thursday from 3 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where prayers will be said Friday at 9:15 am followed by a funeral mass at 10 am at St. Thomas-Aquinas Church, Leicester.
