Donald D. Prevost age 81 of 2269 Leicester Road, Leicester, New York died suddenly on August 26, 2014 at his home. He was born the son of Clayton and Flora (Lurz) Prevost on June 15, 1933 in Rochester, New York. He married Mary Joanne Isaman on November 24, 1955. He was a veteran of the Marines during the Korean Conflict from 1953 to 1958. Prior to his retirement in in 2005 he was employed as a teacher at Groveland Correctional Facility for over 20 years. He was a member and Past commander of the Carlton-Boise American Legion post in Leicester and was a leader for the Boy Scouts

He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Joanne in 2012 daughter Cynthia Spencer in 2011 and loving Son Daniel Prevost in 2012. He is survived by his Daughter Lisa (Dean LoBrutto) Wasson of Mumford, 2 sons David (Barb Weckworth) Prevost and Dirk Prevost both of Leicester. Brother Clayton "Skip" (Mary) Prevost of Perinton & Sister Sheila (Jim) Dunnington of Farmington. Daughter-in-law Elise Prevost of Leicester. Grandchildren Ariel, Dennis & Devin Prevost, Trisha Heap, Joanna Gleason, Amanda Wasson & Danielle Banach. Great Grandchildren Emma & Lilli Gleason, Annabelle & Caleb Smith and Brayden Banach. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends.

Friends may call Thursday Sept. 4 from 2-4 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where memorial services will be held Thursday at 4 pm.
