DONNA M. HILL of Mount Morris, NY died Thursday December 26, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Born 1938, the daughter of Donald & Ada Dale. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Ida and two brothers Donald and David Dale

She retired from the Livingston County Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, plus many years at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea making a total of 25 years of service. She was a member of CSEA, The American Legion. She was very active with the Boy Scouts of America as a den mother of Den #2, leader of explorer Post 82 and a member of the American Diabetes Association.

She was a longtime member of the Village Baptist Church, serving her lord in many ways. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Secretary for the Awana Club, and enjoyed singing and just the wonderful fellowship and love shown by those who attended there. She loved the lord.

She was predeceased by her wonderful and loving husband Earl F. Hill Jr. She is survived by her 3 children, Joe and Amy Hall of Fayetteville, PA, Harold and Deby Hill of Mount Morris and Earl "Rusty" Hill of Raleigh, NC.  Stepchildren Sunday Trimble of Florida, David Hill of Florida, Cindy Lewis of Avon, Becky Dibble of Avon, and Patty Hill of Rochester. 7 Grandchildren and great grandchildren. 2 sisters Margie Sawdey and Angie Tracy and brother Jerry Dale. Many nieces, nephews and cousins including Gloria Ayers and Shirley Barrett.

Friends may call Thursday January 2 from 4 – 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 am at the Village Baptist Church, Mount Morris with Pastor Matthew White officiating. Interment Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville, NY. In lieu of flowers.
