DOROTHY J. PASSAMONTE age 91 of Mount Morris, died Friday June 21, 2019 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born the daughter of Fred and Helen (Kline) Hartman on April 2, 1928 in Buffalo, NY. She graduated Valedictorian from Mt. Morris High School. She married Thomas Passamonte on September 16, 1950. Prior to her retirement in 1988 she was employed as Bank Manager at Security Trust Bank in Mt. Morris for over 35 years. Her and Tom enjoyed many wonderful trips and hobbies together including raising show dogs and collecting antiques.

Whether at work, at home or in the public Dorothy always greeted everyone with a smile that radiated throughout the room. Her smile was infectious and brightened the day for everyone with whom she came in contact. Dorothy was well known as civic minded member of society. She loved her Church, Geneseo Untied Methodist Church. Dorothy loved the hymns of the church and knew all the words of all the verses of many hymns and loved singing along.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 69 years Thomas "Tom". Nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends.

Friends may call Tuesday from 1 - 3 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 3 pm. Lucille Kane officiating.
