DOROTHY H. SCHIRMER age 94 of 115 Murray Street, Mount Morris, NY 14510, died peacefully on Wednesday September 11, 2019 at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born the daughter of Clayton and Leona (Gilboy) Hayes on July 12, 1925 in Rochester, NY. She married John "Jack" Schirmer on July 26, 1947. Prior to her retirement in 1980 she was employed at the New York State Department of Labor in Rochester, Mt. Morris and Geneseo for many years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Perry Center.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years John "Jack" in 2014. She is survived by her brother Thomas (Mary Ann) Hayes of Rochester. Several nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends. The family would like to thank the Staff at Fleming Point, especially Pat and her helpers.

No prior calling. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 11 am at the First Congregational Church of Perry Center, 7205 Perry Road, Route 20A, Perry Center, NY.
