DOUGLAS JAMES PALMER age 56 of 3074 Wildcat Road, Mt. Morris, New York died Monday February 27, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of William and Marion (Paddock) Palmer on October 10, 1960 in Dansville, New York. He worked as a handyman locally for many years. He was a member of the Nunda Fire Department for over 25 years, a former member of the Phantom Revival Drum and Bugle Corp. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid hunter.


He is by his 4 Children Kevin (Danielle Fetkovich) Sullivan of Geneseo, Jeffrey (Nicole) Sullivan of Perry, Jonathan Sullivan of Albany and Alex Mongillo of Nunda. 2 grandchildren Willow & Kayden. Mother Marion (Robert Thompson) Palmer of Mt. Morris. Sister Denise Kay (Jon) Bentley of Mt. Morris. Several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. He was predeceased by his father William in 2003.


Friends may call Saturday from 10- 12 pm at the Oakland Wesleyan Church, 1519 Route 436, Nunda, NY where services will be held Saturday at 12 pm. Reverend Paul Palmer officiating.
