EDWARD C. SWANSON age 94 of Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully on Thursday February 20, 2025 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY.  He was born the son of Carl and Grace (Stamp) Swanson on May 5, 1930 in Warsaw, NY. Prior to his retirement in 1985 he worked and operated the Swanson family farm for over 50 years. He also was a driver for Hainsworth Farms in Groveland for over 25 years.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscarora, Oatka Snow Goers Club, the Grange of Keshequa, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service and the Active Hose Company and the Mount Morris Fire/Rescue Department Company for over 56 years.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Joyce Swanson of Geneseo and several nieces and nephews including Carl Swanson of Mount Morris and many great nieces and nephews and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his sister Sheila Saunders in 1989 and brothers George in 2021 and William in 2022.

No prior calling hours.  Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscarora, 8082 Main Street, Tuscarora.  Lay Pastor Carmen Vianese officiating.  Interment Mount Morris Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscarora, 8082 Main Street, Mount Morris, NY 14510.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
