EDWARD E. TILTON age 81 of Nunda, New York, died Thursday July 11, 2024 at his home in Nunda, New York.  He was born the son of Ernest and Jessie (Mitchell) Tilton on September 9, 1942 in Bristol, New York, New York.  He married Cynthia Hopkins on April 24, 1972.  He served in the Army from 1960 to 1962 during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he worked at Morton Salt in Silver Springs, NY for nearly 30 years.  He was a member of the Dalton American Legion and the Van Moses Civil War re-enactors.

He is survived by 3 daughters Robin (Gary) Zhong of Pennsylvania, Rhonda Snyder of Dalton and Rene (Brian) Dietz of Nunda.  7 grandchildren Lily, Emma, Michael, Rose, Nate, Eric and Anthony.  Sister Kathleen McGinty of Dalton.  2 brothers-in-law Daniel Hopkins of Florida and Dennis Hopkins of Fairport.  Nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his wife Cynthia in 2023 and brother Robert Tilton and Sisters Marie Carney and Shirley Vasile.
