Elwood E. "Deke" Huff age 96 of Tuscarora died Thursday October 6, 2016 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. He was born the son of Allen and Frances (Elwell) Huff on March 13, 1920 in Springwater, NY. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Marine Corps. He married Betty Holland on April 26, 1942. Prior to his retirement in 1972 he was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Foster Wheeler in Dansville for 38 years. He was a member of the Dansville VFW


He is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (Ken) Laks of Kentucky, Vicky (Robert) Cox of Nunda, 4 sons Elwood (Pat) Huff Jr. of Dansville, Donald (Donna) Huff and Larry Huff both of Tuscarora and Ron (Marlene) Huff of Retsof. 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 Great great Grandson. 2 Brothers Ralph (Martha) Huff of Rochester and Gerald (Edith) Huff of Utah. Many Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his Wife Betty (Holland) Huff in 2013, daughter Roberta and great-grandsons, Chance Huff and Cory Knapp.
