Emma S. Pendergast age 98 of 2515 Jones Bridge Road in Leicester, died Tuesday April 2, 2013 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was born the daughter of the late Henry and Delia (Costello) Strayline on May 18, 1914 in Leicester, NY. Emma was married to Howard Pendergast who died in 1990.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Beverly) Pendergast of Perry, Delia Keefe of York and Barbara (Timothy) O'Brien of Arkansas; 6 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

No prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 10, 2013 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Leicester at 11 am. Interment in Leicester Cemetery.
