ESTEBAN CRUZ "Steve" SOTO age 82 of 28 Hopkins Street, Mount Morris, New York, died Monday July 17, 2017 at his home. He was born the son of Hilario Cruz Rodriguez and Eulglig Soto Monclova on February 13, 1935. Prior to his retirement he was employed at AKZO Salt mine in Retsof for over 25 years. He was a member of the Village Baptist Church in Mount Morris.


He is survived by his 8 Children. Leoncia Cruz Rivera, Johnny Cruz Rivera, Jose Luis Cruz Rivera, Gloria Soto, Sandy Burant, Steve N. Soto, Dwayne Shute and Tommy Young. 18 Grandchildren. Former wife Emerita Cruz Rivera. 9 Brothers Vicente Soto, Eulogio Cruz, Isidoro Cruz, Dionisio Cruz Soto, Felix Juan Cruz Soto, Jose Inez Cruz Soto, Jose Ramon Cruz Soto, Geraldo Cruz Soto and Jeremias Cruz Soto. 4 Sisters Dora Bone, Carmen Cruz Rodriguez, Gloria Cruz Soto and Luz Eneida Cruz Soto. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Mary J. Edwards in 2008

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am at the Village Baptist Church in Mount Morris. Pastor Edward Phillips officiating. Interment Mt. Morris Cemetery.
