Everette Lynn Scott (Scotty), 73, formerly of Mt. Morris, NY, passed away early Sunday morning, November 20 ^th ,2022, in Winter Haven, FL.  Scotty was born in Sonyea, NY, on March 30 ^th , 1949, to Margaret Kirkpatrick and Everette Leroy Scott. He married Kathy Provino on June 3 ^rd , 1978. Scotty retired from Mt. Morris Police Department after 25 years of service, continued to work at R. E.  Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, and drove a school bus for the Mt. Morris School district until he retired. Scotty loved being an active member of the Mt. Morris Fire Department and bowling at the Mt. Morris Lanes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, friends and people-watching.

Scotty is survived by his wife, Kathy; children- Jason Scott, Holly (Eric) Howe, and Justin Scott and grandchildren- Kolby & Calogero Scott, Alexandria Howe & Zoey (Chelsea Schuette) Scott. His sister Judy Scott, along with many nieces and nephews. Scotty was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Everette, sisters Janet and Carolyn, and brother Carl
