FLORENCE T. DIGIOIA age 101 of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully on SundaJanuary 25, 2026 at UR/Noyes Medical Center in Dansville, New York,  surrounded by family. She was born the daughter of Antonio and Antonia (Parinella) Taravella on December 5, 1924 in Mount Morris, NY.  She was a life resident of Mount Morris and married Louis DiGioia On  June 5, 1948. Prior to her retirement she worked as a stenographer for Livingston County Health Related Facility for many years.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.  Over the years, she volunteered for both the Red Cross and the Alzheimer's Association.  She enjoyed attending the Livingston County Senior Lunch Program at the VFW in Mount Morris, where she developed a network of friends and a sense of community.

She is survived by her daughter Amy (John) Hanlon of New Jersey and son David (Tammy) DiGioia of Mount Morris.  3 Grandchildren, Joachium DiGioia, Erin (Hanlon) LaRue, and Clare Hanlon. Several nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends, including James and Kayleigh Regatuso and their children, of Geneseo, NY. She is predeceased by her husband Louis in 2002, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call Friday Feb. 6th from 4 to 6 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY.  Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10 am at St. Patrick's Church, 46 Stanley Street, Mount Morris, NY.    Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Cemetery, 13 North Street, Geneseo, NY 14454.  Sign the online registry at
