FRANCES S. BARONE age 87 formerly of 20 Eagle Street, Mt. Morris, NY, died Thursday April 19, 2018 at St. John's Greenhouse Community in Penfield. She was born the daughter of Benedict and Rose (Passamonte) Sardinia on December 19, 1930 in Perry, NY. She married Joseph Barone on June 21, 1952. She was employed as an operator for Rochester Telephone prior to raising her family. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Rosary Society. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt to all of her family. She was a woman of courage, who handle life with grace, dignity and humor.


She is survived by her 3 Children Rosanne Barone of Webster, Frank (Joseph Weber) Barone of Rochester and Diane (James) Baker of Mt. Morris. Brother Tom (Marcia) Sardinia of Hamburg. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2003, sister Carrie Taravella, brother Spencer Sardinia and a infant baby sister. The family would like to thank her caregivers and friends at St. John's Greenhouse Community.


Friends may call Monday from 4 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where prayers will be said Tuesday at 9 am followed by a funeral mass at St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 am.
