FRANCES J. KERNS age 104 of Geneseo, NY, died Wednesday March 28, 2018 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Jerry and Catherine (Licata) Cellura on April 9, 1913 in Mt. Morris, NY. She married James Kerns on July 29, 1944. Prior to her retirement in 1973 she was employed at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 32 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and CSEA.


She is survived by 2 daughters Frances (John) Garwood of Dansville and Janice (Mark) Stenshorn of Chili. Son-in-law Milton Philips of Rochester. 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Husband James in 1991 and daughters Mary Katherine in 1958 & Elizabeth Phillips in 1997 and Grandson James Phillips.


Friends may call Saturday from 11-1 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where graveside services will be held following calling at 1 pm at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
