FRANCES N. "CHICKIE" PFUNTNER age 71 of 41 Liberty Street, Dansville, New York, died Monday June 26, 2017 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Leone) Macaluso on June 22, 1946 in Mount Morris, New York. She married Walter H. Pfuntner on June 19,1965. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Forbes Products in Dansville for 14 years and Kelly Brothers Nursery in Dansville for 8 years. She was a member St. Mary's Church in Dansville and the Dansville Moose Lodge.


She is survived by her loving Husband of 52 years Walter. 2 children Leonard (Tracy) Pfuntner and Gwen (Chris) Hughes both of Florida. 5 Grandchildren Casey, Meagan, Tyler, JJ and Cole. 3 sisters Josie Santacroce of Piffard, Nancy Paddock and Rita (Ken) Levey both of Mt. Morris. Many nieces, nephews and loving friends. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Sarah Macaluso and her brother Joseph Macaluso.
