FRANCES V. NASCA, age 86, of Geneseo (formerly of 17 Erie Street, Mt. Morris) died on Thursday February 19, 2015 in Mt. Morris, NY. She was born the daughter of Christenzio "Frank" and Josephine (Canicci) Virgo on December 15, 1928 in Mt. Morris, NY where she joined her brothers Tony and Jerry. She married Francis "Whitey" Nasca in 1948. She had one son, the light of her life, Ronald P. Nasca in 1949. She was employed for over 34 years at the US Department of Agriculture in Leicester, NY. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Rosary Society, The Federal Retirees Association and the Ladies of the Red Hats of Mt. Morris.



She is survived by her four granddaughters Christine Hilber (Jason) of Florida, Ronilyn Nasca of Virginia, Whitney and Sara Rae Nasca of Minnesota. She also leaves behind a great grandson, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many, dear, loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband Whitey in 1986 and her son Ron in 2009.



No prior calling. Prayers will be held Thursday Feb. 26 at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mt. Morris at 9 am followed by a funeral mass at St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 am. The Reverend Edward Dillon officiating. Entombment at St. Joseph's Mausoleum, Batavia, NY.
