FRANKLIN W. GRISWOLD age 89 of MOUNT MORRIS, died Thursday September 14, 2017 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was born the son of Charles and Maude Griswold on March 3, 1928 in Richmond, NY. He married Delia Moore on September 28, 1974. Prior to his retirement he worked as a groundskeeper for Upstate Waters in Hemlock, NY.


He is survived by his 6 children Stella (Wayne) Kramer of Batavia, Louise (Lou) Manfre of Farmington, Kenneth Teed of Mt. Morris, Howard (Brenda) Teed of Hemlock, David Teed of PA and Mary (Stan) Schneckenburger of Geneseo. 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandsons. 1 nephew Ronald (Maureen) Griswold of Perry. He was predeceased by his wife Delia in 1998 and 2 children Ralph and LaVern.


Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 7 pm.
