GARY G. GORTON age 84 of Mount Morris, died Sunday June 27, 2021 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mount Morris, NY.  He was born the son of Howard and Catherine (Mattison) Gorton on March 18, 1937 in Bath, New York.  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1960 to 1963.  Prior to his retirement he was employed as an Electrician for several area companies.

He was predeceased by his wife Nancy in 2020.  He is survived by 3 children David Gorton of Tennessee, Kathleen (Eric) Zapata of California and Mike Gorton of Mount Morris.  6 Grandchildren Christopher, Melissa, Isabella, Abigail, Trisha and Jessica.  3 Great Grandchildren Elijah, Samuel and William.  3 Brothers Gerald (Deanna) Turner of Henrietta, Leigh (Martha) Gorton of Groveland and Lynn (Carolyn) Gorton of Canadice.  Many nieces nephews and dear and loving friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 3 at 1 pm at the Ridgeland Community Church , 26 Beckwith Road, West Henrietta, NY.  Memorials may be made to Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo, NY 14454.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
