GARY S. “Rags” MYERS age 74 of Leicester, New York, died peacefully on Wednesday September 2, 2026 at his home. He was born the son of George and Bernice (Ryan) Myers on July 12, 1952 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He married Cynthia “Cindy” Morrison on October 15, 2005. Prior to his retirement in 2013 he was a carpenter and remained a proud member of the Carpenters Union Local 276. Rags also enjoyed being a member of the York Sportsman Club. Attending AMI in Daytona, Florida he earned his certification as a Harley Davidson mechanic. Rags enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, motorcycles, and golfing, along with many other hobbies.

He is survived by his loving wife and partner of 41 years, Cindy. He is also survived by his daughter Aileen McCoy and 2 grandchildren Jaime and Aidan of Silver Lake, brother Bob (Mary Jane) Myers of Virginia and sister Judith Myers of Pennsylvania, along with nieces, nephews and many dear and loving friends.
