George M. Casteel age 82 of Conkey Street in Mt. Morris, died Wednesday July 5, 2023 at the Livingston County Nursing Facility & Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Morris.   He was born on September 3, 1940 in Marietta, Georgia. He was the owner / operator of Casteel Construction in Mt. Morris, NY for many years.  He was married to Carol Casteel who predeceased him on October 19, 2018 after 17 years of marriage.

He is survived a son, Steven (Rita) Casteel of Mt. Morris, a daughter Kelly Mullins of Idaho and a step-daughter, Lisa (Edward) Carll of Livonia.
