GLENN J. HARKNESS age 58 of 9573 Pennycook Road, Hunt, NY, died Sunday January 11, 2015 at his home. He was born the son of Earl and Carole (Peets) Harkness on June 10, 1956 in Rochester, NY. He married Diana L. Barnhardt on June 24, 1974. He was employed as a truck driver for Gannett Newspaper for 15 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years Diana. 2 children April (Doug) Lewis and Adam Harkness both of South Carolina. 2 grandchildren Carissa and Bailee Lewis both of South Carolina. His parents Earl and Carole Harkness of Scottsville. Brother David (Melinda) Harkness of Caledonia and sister Diane Jennings of Chili. Many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am.
