GREGORY LEIGH "Big" SMITH age 52 of 27 Fairmont Street, Mt. Morris, NY died Friday June 29, 2018 peacefully surrounded by his family at his home. He was born the son of Barney and Pauline (Russell) Smith Jr. on June 14, 1966 in Bangor, Maine. He married Jacqueline Parker on August 2, 2002. He was a member of the Rochester Carpenters Union Local 276 for over 33 years.


He is survived by loving wife Jackie. 2 sons Aaron Smith of Florida and Brian Crans of Rochester.  Grandson Cameron Crans of Livonia.  2 Brothers and 3 Sisters Marguerite Ascioti of Mt. Morris, Brenton (Jeanie) Smith of Swain, Bernice Miller of Nunda, Gena Thompson of Mt. Morris, Barney (Stacey) Smith III of Illinois. Brothers-in-law Kevin Thompson and Donald Miller. Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends.


Friends may call Monday from 3 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Interment Mt.
