GUY R. LOWERY JR. age 62 of 1987 State route 20A, Leicester, New York, died Thursday October 27, 2016 at his home. He was born the son of Guy and Betty (Feathers) Lowery Sr. on July 9, 1954 in Sonyea, NY. He graduated from Mount Morris Central in 1972. He married Robin Barnhardt on January 14, 1978. Prior to his retirement he was a self employed contractor. He was a member of the Mount Morris Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses in Leicester.


He is survived by his loving wife of over 38 years Robin. 4 children Jamey R. (Eva) Lowery of Mt. Morris, Sarah (Damond) Switzer of South Carolina, Matthew J. Lowery of Mt. Morris and Guy R. (Stephanie) Lowery III of Walworth. 6 grandchildren Cheyenne, Griffin, Matthew, Mersadaes, Dewayne and Xavion. 3 brothers Jeff Lowery, Paul and Rory Walker, 3 sisters Dawn (Wayne) Stanley, Terry (Alex) May and Tammy Cuthbertson. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his brother Tim.


Friends may call Saturday October 29 from 2 - 5 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 2 pm at the Mt.
