HELEN FRANCIS (BLAKLEY) TRUAX age 75 of State Street, Dalton, New York, passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at the Vincent House in Wayland, New York. She was born the daughter of Ernest and Luella Blakley on September 17, 1937. She married Donald Truax on July 14, 1956. Prior to her retirement in 1999 she was employed at Keshequa Central School for over 15 years as a teachers aid and in the cafeteria. She had volunteered for the ARC of Livingston and Wyoming Counties for several years.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald Truax, son Terry Truax, parents Ernest and Luella Blakley, sisters Mary Baylor and Ruth Sleight, brothers Donald and Richard Blakley. She is survived by 3 children Stacy (Truax) Taylor of Farmington, Timothy Truax of Dalton and Marty Truax of Nunda. 3 Grandsons Sean, Zachery and Dale. Several nieces, nephews, brothers & sister-in-laws and many dear and loving friends.

A reception will be held on Saturday February 16, 2013 from 1-4 pm to Celebrate Helen's Life at the Seager-Werner American Legion Post 333, 32 State Street, Nunda, NY .
