HELEN H. MASONIS age 83 of Brown Road, Cuylerville, New York, died Sunday August 19, 2012 at the Livingston County CNR in Mount Morris, New York. She was born the daughter of John and Mary Bolish on March 4, 1929 in Rockingham, Pennsylvania. She married John Masonis Jr. on January 8, 1966. Prior to her retirement in 1965 she was employed as a secretary at Bausch & Lomb in Rochester, New York. She was a member of St. Thomas-Aquinas Church in Leicester.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 46 years John Masonis Jr., 5 children Nancy Germond of Rochester, Judy (Cleve) DeVault of Overland Park, Kansas, David (Laurel) Masonis of Penfield, Robert (Janice) Masonis of Perry and Michelle Masonis of Springwater. 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, Cousins and many dear and loving friends including a special niece Mary Valentino Underwood of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Bolish, siblings Mary and Ann Valentino, Steve Bolish and John Evenech.

Friends may call Wednesday from 3-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where prayers will be said on Thursday at 9:15 am followed by a funeral mass at 10 am at St. Thomas-Aquinas Church, Leicester, NY.
