HELEN M. SCACCIA age 90 of 17 Munson Street, LeRoy formerly of Leicester, died Tuesday February 25, 2014 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born the daughter of John and Myrtle (Chapman) Jacobs on October 28, 1923 in Barberton, Ohio. She married James Scaccia. She is survived by her 7 children James (Rosalie) Scaccia of New Hampshire, Peter F. Scaccia of Stony Point, Elizabeth Ancker of Fairport, Gerald (Clara) Scaccia of Leicester, Susan Hess of LeRoy, John (Tammy) Scaccia of Perry and Jackie Scaccia of Leicester. 19 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. 1 brother Frank (Rosemary) Jacobs of California, 1 sister Mildred (Richard "Bud") Hamilton of Leicester. Many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband James in 1992. No prior calling. Memorial services will be held Monday at 11 am at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Spring Burial Leicester Cemetery on Saturday May 10 at 11 am.
