JACK EDWARD KRZEMIEN age 79 of 8212 Dudley Road, Nunda, NY, died Monday September 24, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Edward and Josephine (Wrazin) Krzemien on November 2, 1938 in North Tonawanda, NY. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1961 during the Vietnam War. He married Nancy Rawleigh on April 4, 1964. Prior to his retirement in 2000 he was employed as a mechanic at both American Rock Salt and AKZO for over 32 years. He was a member of the Cuylerville Sportsman Club, the Angelica American Legion Post and a former member of the Mine Rescue Team. He was known as the "Legend" of the Salt Mine. His hobbies included Stock Car Racing, repairing and restoring old cars and Hunting and fishing.


He is survived by loving wife of 54 years Nancy. 3 Daughters Vicki (Scott) of Nunda, Sally (Dave) of Hume and Angela (Paul) of Dalton. 7 Grandchildren Edward, Tiffany (Steven), Adam Sr., Meghan, Cain, Trent and Cole. 6 Great Grandchildren Sakora, Aubery, Presley, Odin, Haylee and Adam Jr. 2 brothers Michael (John) of Niagara Falls and Ronald (Debbie) of Castile. 3 sisters Virginia of Farmington, Nancy (Tom) of Silver Springs and Rosemary of Warsaw. Many nieces, nephews and dear friends including his beloved dog Kelsey.  He was predeceased by his brother Edward Jr. And sister Delores.

Friends may call Thursday from 3 - 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10 am at Holy Angels Church, Nunda.
