JAMES D. "Jimmy" CAPPADONIA age 72 of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully on Monday May 5, 2025 at UR/ Noyes Medical Center in Dansville, NY.  He was born the son of Joseph and Angeline (Trubia) Cappadonia on March 14, 1953 in Dansville, NY.  He was a lifelong resident of Mount Morris. Prior to his retirement in 2012 he worked for the Department of Corrections in Groveland for nearly 40 years as a motor vehicle operator.  He also worked with his father at Cappadonia and Sons Excavation and Trucking in Mount Morris.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, CSEA and the Mount Morris Fire Department for 50 years.

He is survived by his niece Keturah Cappadonia and nephew Joseph Cappadonia. Many cousins and dear and loving friends. He was predeceased by his mother Angeline in 2006, father Joseph in 2012 and brother Samuel in 1981.
