JAMES D. "Jim" MANN Jr. age 67 of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at UR/Noyes Medical Center in Dansville, New York.  He was born the son of James and Betty (White) Mann Sr. on February 16, 1958 in Rochester, New York.  He married Patricia Genco on July 31, 1976. Prior to his retirement in 2007 he worked for General Motors for 30 years having worked at Rochester Products, Delphi in Rochester and at the Tonawanda Engine Plant.  He was a member for 43 years of the Mount Morris Fire Department where he served as Chief in 2007 and again from 2009 to 2010 and 2015- 2016 he also was a member of the Mount Morris Ambulance for nearly 20 years.  He enjoyed Hunting, fishing watching TV especially Gunsmoke.  He loved his entire family and attending his grandchildren school events and sporting events.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia "Patty", 3 Children Jamie (Joan) Mann, Jason (Sarah) Mann and Jennifer (Chris) Young all of Mount Morris.  6 Grandchildren Alec, Adriana, Evan and Ava Mann, Collin and Chase Young all of Mount Morris. Brother Duane (Kim) Mann of Dansville, 4 sisters Pam (Bill) Little and Norma (Ron) Webster both of Dansville, Barb Snyder and Kimberly Wetmore both of Mount Morris. Brother-in-law Tom Burke of Perry.  Several nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends including his dog Tucker.  He was predeceased by his parents Betty and Jim Mann, Brother John Mann and 2 sisters Debbie Burke and Lynn Hilligus.

Friends may call Friday December 19 from 4- 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, New York where funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am.  Pastor Jerry Swain officiating.  Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
