JAMES D. HARCLEROAD age 82 of Mount Morris, died Tuesday Janaury 7, 2025 at his home in Tuscarora. He was born the son of William and Phyllis (Halpenny) Harcleroad on May 25, 1942 in Warsaw, NY.  He married Kathleen Ann Patton on March 31, 1973.  He served in the Army from 1965 to 1967 during the Vietnam War.  Prior to his retirement in 2012 he had worked for Monroe Tree Service and then Lewis Tree Services in Rochester for over 40 years.  He was a proud father/grandfather who could be found sharing pictures of grandchildren, watching westerns, or working around his property.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 51 years Kathleen. 3 children James Harcleroad II, Kathleen (Eric) Pendergrass of Virginia and Kimberly (Timothy) Cunningham of North Carolina.  4 Grandchildren Gabriel, Avalyn, Cailyn and Grayson.  8 siblings David (Elaine) Harcleroad of Mt. Morris, Phil  Harcleroad of Tennessee, Sue (David) Barber of Mt. Morris, Gerrie Lyness of York, Estella (Jeff) Catlin of Mt. Morris, Dianna (Howard) Speechley of Pavilion, Paul (Cheryl) Harcleroad of York and Paula (Frank) Dieter of Hornell. Many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.  He was predeceased by his father William Harcleroad Sr. in 1991 and Mother Phyllis Harcleroad in 2017 and brother William Harcleroad Jr. in 2020
