JANET H. CAREY age 99 of 114 Main Street, Leicester, NY, died Thursday September 28, 2017 at Nicholas Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She was born on August 21, 1918 in Warsaw, New York. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a Seamstress at the Perry Knitting Mill in Perry, NY. She was a member of the Leicester Presbyterian Church.


She is survived by her daughter Jacquline "Jackie" (Bill) Roffe of Leicester/Florida. 2 grandchildren Randy (Becky) Roffe of Linwood and Janet (Howard) Green of Leicester. 3 Great grandchildren Howard, Brittany & Marissa and 10 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1990, daughter Barbara Glenna, Grandson Russell (Robin) Schneider and 2 great grandchildren Pam Schneider and Brandon Green

No prior calling. Graveside Services will be held at the Leicester Cemetery on Saturday October 7 at 1 pm.  Reverend David Missell officiating.  Arrangements by the JOHN W.
