JOHN CRUZ-BARNHARDT age 36 of Nunda, NY, died suddenly on Friday October 28, 2022 at his home.   He was born the son of Angel Cruz-Sanabria and Evelyn Barnhardt on January 30, 1986 in Dansville, NY.  John will be remembered for his love of fishing, searching for arrowheads and Puff Ball Mushrooms.

He is survived by his mother Evelyn (Scott Zietz) Cook of Nunda, father Angel Cruz-Sanabria of Silver Springs, Brother Justin Cruz-Barnhardt of Dalton.  Several Aunts and Uncles including Rita (William) Hoover of Cohocton.  Many dear and loving friends.

Friends may call Wednesday 4 to 7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris.  Graveside Services will be held on Thursday at 11 am at Oakwood Cemetery, Nunda, NY.  Leeann Kaiser Officiating.  A Life Celebration Reception will follow Graveside services at the Nunda Fire Hall, 4 South State Street, Nunda, NY 14517.  In lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 200 Meridan Centre Blvd, Suite 110, Rochester, NY 14618.  Sign the online registry at
