JOHN R. "JACK" HAYWOOD JR. age 81 of 13 Van Dorn Avenue, Mount Morris, died Sunday December 1, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of John C. and Mary (Dolan) Haywood Sr. on May 16, 1932 in Dansville, NY. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. Prior to his retirement in 1993 he was employed at C.P. Ward Construction Company for 43 years. He was a 50 year member of the Laborers Union Local #435 in Rochester, NY.

He is survived by his son John T. Haywood of Sarasota, Florida, Daughter Anne Marie (Dana Sr.) Regatuso of Mt. Morris. 5 Grandchildren Melissa (C.J.) Bennett of Texas, Michael (Stephanie) Pasquarella Sr. of Florida, Amy Pasquarella of Georgia, Dana (Jennifer) Regatuso Jr. of Ossian and Amber (Scott Clune) Regatuso of Rochester, 6 Great Grandchildren Thomas & Ashley Bennett, DeAndre` Pasquarella-Smith, Michael Jr. & Gabrielle Pasquarella and Kylie Regatuso. Sister-in-law Rose J. Valentino, brother-in-law Dominic Fasso. Several nieces and nephews and many dear and loving Friends including Rose Provo. He was predeceased by his wife Anna M. Haywood in 1999 and daughter Jacqueline Pasquarella in 2012.

Friends may call Thursday from 3-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7pm. Interment Mount Morris Cemetery.
