John L. Mc Cart 69 of 24 Damonsville Street, Mount Morris, NY, died Friday July 19, 2013 at his home in Mount Morris. He was born the son of Robert and Catherine "Jennie" (Bartolotti) McCart on October 2, 1943 in Warsaw, NY. He owned and operated the Mount Morris Taxi Service since 1968 and also the Plaza Café in Mount Morris for nearly 30 years. He married Sheila Dale on November 8, 1998. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.

He is survived by his wife Sheila, 2 sons John R. McCart and Robert J. (Jennifer) McCart. 3 Step Daughters Stacey, Sarah and Samantha. 9 Grandchildren Courtney, Joey, Charlie, Danny, Noah, Riley, Jaelyn, Lucas and Evan. 2 sisters Maralyn (Mario) Dragani and Roberta McCart. Nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4 - 8 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where prayers will be said Wednesday at 9 am follow by a Funeral mass at St. Patrick's Church, Mount Morris at 9:30 am.
