JOHN A. VEAUNT SR. age 68 of Mount Morris, New York, died suddenly on Friday May 5, 2023 at his home. He was born the son of Howard Andrew and Ethel Frances (Near) Veaunt on January 30, 1955 in Rochester, New York.  He married Mary Fuller on April 7, 1973. He was employed by Faber Builders in Rochester, New York for nearly 30 years. He loved hunting, fishing and his pets

He is survived by 3 Children Shawn (Lauren) Veaunt of Ohio, John A. Veaunt Jr. of Dansville and Courtney (James) Weimar of Geneseo. 5 Grandchildren Maya, Kyra, Zoe, Eden and Cecelia.  Siblings Shirley Blazak, Valliere (Phil) Galletto, Charles Giehl and Kevin Veaunt.  Sister-in-law Deborah Campe Veaunt. Nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loving friends.  He is predeceased by his wife Mary in 2012 and brother Howard "Buck" Veaunt in 2014.

No Prior calling. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday June 10 at 12 pm at Al Lorenz Park, Pavilion #2, Mount Morris.  Private interment at Mt. Morris Cemetery.
