JOSEPH P. KOCH age 91 of 2161 Peoria Road, Leicester, New York, died Wednesday January 29, 2014 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Albert and Rose (Getsfred) Koch on July 8, 1922 in North Collins, NY. He married Catherine Claud on April 18, 1942. He owned and operated Koch Farms of Leicester for over 70 years. He was a member of St. Thomas-Aquinas Church in Leicester and the Leicester Fire Department.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Catherine "Kay" Koch. 3 Children Carol (Don) Hayes of Chili, Dave (Sharon) Koch of Leicester and Steven (Brenda) Koch of Indiana. 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Phil in 1963, brothers Larry, Daniel and Robert Koch and Sister Katherine Baker.

Friends may call Friday from 3-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris, where prayers will be held on Saturday at 9:15 am followed by a funeral mass at St. Thomas-Aquinas Church in Leicester at 10 am.
