JOSEPH R. KRYSICA age 93 of 19 South Street, Leicester, died Friday March 18, 2016 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born the son of Ambrose and Madeline Kryzica on March 4, 1923 in Perry, New York. He was a veteran of the Navy from 1943- 1946 during World War II. He married Stella Cicero on September 4, 1954. Prior to his retirement in 1990 he worked as a fabricator at Pfaudler Manufacturing in Rochester, NY. He was a member of St. Thomas-Aquinas Church in Leicester, the Perry VFW Post 5009 and was an avid bowler having served on the Regional Sanctioning Board.

He is survived by his wife of over 61 years Stella, Daughter Susan Carson of Caledonia, 2 Grandchildren Paige Carson of Rochester and Sean Carson of Caledonia. Brother Edward Krysica of Perry, 2 sisters in-law Beatrice and Isabele Cicero of Leicester. Nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday from 4-7 pm at the JOHN W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 37 Chapel Street, (Route 408), Mount Morris where prayers will be said Tuesday at 9:15 am followed by a funeral mass at St. Thomas-Aquinas Church in Leicester at 10 am.
